必須面對的敵意
去了新組後, 得到新老細「穆哈默」 的支持與嘉獎, 當然是好事, 但也要面對一些不能控制的人事問題。
老細要放假三星期, 要人代佢收 status report 同帶一次 staff meeting; 他選了我。 因我有去 director (即係我老細嘅老細) 的 staff meeting, 客觀來說, 我是較方便與經理層溝通, 所以是合理人選。 但有一個問題, 穆哈默組內有跟了他多年的得力工程師, 現在無端端要個新來的 run 個組, 你話佢地會點諗?
其實, 老細放假前, 他有私底下問我想唔想接呢個任務。 呢d情況, 是不可縮的, 所以答案只得一個, 是 yes。 當然我答得好小心, 不是懶叻咁, 而是抱著為老細辨事的審慎態度。 同時我也反映會否有其他組員唔高興的問題, 之後傾咗一輪都係去馬。
今日剛開完了 staff meeting, 成組十多人, 咁 run meeting 我有經驗, 已懂壓場和控制流程的技巧。 大部分組員十分合作, 報吓訊講吓笑, 正是開會最正確的態度。 不過, 有位較高級的組員便擺明俾面色我看, 遲到早退全程黑面。 講真我都冇計, 只好不被他影響, 顧掂自己和其他組員, 將來有機會再釋出善意吧。

this kind of task is always really difficult.. not sure if managers are just trying to test your management ability or the managers are being un-thoughtful.

skc: it is difficult because in this tough time of the company, no one want to mess with people. For the manager point of with, #1 is get people help him to do thing. #2, creating some sort of conflict among his employee may not be a totally bad thing. Part of their job is to manage people issue, so they get thing to do, haha.
