Still I stay up till 5am Sunday to listen the whole match, and thus couldn’t get up to attend Worship … … Anyway, back to the tennis game. Federer seems back to his top form in additional of a three-days rest. On the other hand, Nadal just finish a marathon 5.5hr semi. So Federer was seen as the favorite to win this Champion and go ahead to tie Sampras’ all time 14 Grand Slams record. The outcome, another five-sets nail biting epic. Nadal’s strong will and unbelievable endurance edged out Federer’s supreme tennis skill, winning the Aussie Open Title.
During the last 12 months, Nadal has beaten Federer in all three surfaces in Grand Slam final. Federer, with such confidence and pride deep inside him, can’t hide the frustration and disappointment. Broke down and cried during the trophy ceremony. It was sad, but that’s life and there is no exception to anyone, even he is considered as one of the greatest of the game.
