遇虎
去年, 轉工, 新加入一個組。 做 lead 那位好猛料, 有兩個博士學位。 不過她做事有點霸道, 有時還以大欺小, 和她共事確有不少壓力。 那時我新來新豬肉, 也被她玩唔少。 不過有其它人唔卸佢, 有次還搞到吵架。 她卻依然我行我素, 不久又一次和組員在電郵上公開駡戰。 上得山多終遇虎, 這次她的經理扯火啦, 下令調她離組; 獨自去做一個不大不少的 project。 而那個 lead 的位置, 卻叫我這個新來的頂上。 可想而知, 我要面對的阻力和人事自然不少, 那卻是其他故事了。 說回那位同事, 大半年轉眼過去, 前天她請辭了。

it’s so dramatic as i have heard from you on this person from time to time… the things that happen at work could be really good entries for a blog or a book. (i had considered keeping a blog about the dramas at work, but hack, i am moving on! may be i will do that for next job).

There were quite a few good points in the linked entry! Thanks for sharing that. I’ve seen/experienced some dramas at work also. I find that people with good qualification are usually more humble and flexible. Maybe this is the difference between a Canadian and American.

Hi JK: usually people in my field are quite nice, the person in this story is kind of special case. Her experience are mostly from China and only work in the U.S. for a few years.
