去年, 法國公開賽決賽前夕, 費達拿對拿度, 寫了一篇關於他們的扑。今個星期天, 又是他倆人打入決賽。 和去年不同的是, 這兩位球壇的第一和第二高手, 功力又再提升, 已拋離當代其他球手。
費達拿是技術型, 性格沉著冷靜。他就如一代宗師, 具大將之風, 不浮不燥。 打法優雅靈巧, 變化莫測, 每一擊都似蘊藏無數後著。 而他最煞食的, 是每每在緊急關頭, 都可以突然提升功力, 打出更高層次、更為刁鑽的招式, 令對手無所適從。 拿度是 力量型, 性格熱情澎湃。他就如一個年青天才, 天不怕地不怕。 打法是快、狠、準, 每一擊都似用盡全身氣力, 卻又可以保持高度旺盛的力量直至完場。 一個是網球天王, 技術全面; 一個是泥地王子, 銳不可當。 兩大無敵高手對決, 應該會是一場精彩比賽。

冷靜與熱情: 費達拿打得異常冷靜, 技術亦發揮自如。 不過就好似少了些熱情, 唔係好追波, 遇上毅力與拚勁十足的拿度, 又再輸波, 同時囊括四個大滿貫的機會再次落空。 相反, 拿度成為法網三連霸, 不愧為泥地王子。

Wimbledon final, again came to Federer and Nadal. Federer played with his usual skillful tennis. He constantly lifted his game in crucial moments, helping him to save numerous break points. Nadal meanwhile kept his energy-driven style; surprisingly it also worked in the fast grass court. The outcome, Federer won in a nail biting 5-sets epic. Nadal is improving in an unbelievable pace, posing him to be a tennis great. On the other hand, Federer’s pursuit of all-time greatest is becoming more challenging.
